As per the direction of the Directorate circulated vide letter F No. 23-3/2008 dated 20.04.2010, the color of uniform of the eligible category of Postmen and M.S Group-C staff has been changed from Blue to Khaki. There is also provision for India Post Logo and Plastic name Plate.
In order to supply the Uniform to different Units of Odisha Circle all the Regional / Divisional / Unit heads have been requested by the Superintendent , PSD, Bhubaneswar to submit required indent for supply of Khaki clothes to eligible Uniformed Staff including lady officials for the year 2012-14 immediately.
In addition, all have also been requested to submit indent for supply of the following items in respect of the eligible Uniformed Officials including lady official forthwith.
1. Umbrella 4. Ladies Saree
2. Chappal 5. Ladies Blouse
3. Woolen Jersey 6. Rainy Coats (Supplied once in 4 years)
The process for Procurement of the Khaki Uniforms and other Uniform Items will be initiated only after the assessment of the total requirement of the Units as a whole.
